The island of Upolu is about 70 km long and 20 km broad. Most of the white sandy beaches are on the south side of the island and the north side will offer a beautiful rocky coastline. To get from the north to the south you need to drive over the mountain which climbs up to 950 meter at its highest point. From the top of the island you will have the most beautiful view over either the north or the south coast. Give yourself time to explore for a few days to find the fantastic waterfalls, beaches and traditional villages. Why not renting a car and do it all in your own time.
