Welcome to Samoa

When you arrive to Samoa and Faleolo International Airport, you have the opportunity to go to Apia (Shuttle Bus 15 Tala per person or Taxi 40 Tala) or straight to our beach resort on the south coast (taxi pick-up service 80 Tala) for a few days to get used to the climate and culture but also to get information to be able to plan your trip around the country.

 Virgin Cove Resort is our beautiful budget resort on the south coast of Upolu island, were you will meet lots of other traveler. We will also give you the start you need and introduce you to the culture. 

If you want to go straight to Savaii, the ferry dock is only 10 min drive away  from the airport (Taxi 10 Tala or wait for the local bus).

From Apia there is a bus ( Pasi o vaa / Mulifanua ) three times a day from the Food Market (6 am, 10 am, 2 pm) to the Ferry Dock. Price 3.00 Tala per person. The ferry to Savaii departs daily at 8 am, 12 noon, 4 pm. Price 10 Tala per person.

Welcome to Savaii

When you arrive to Savaii be fast off the ferry to catch the bus to Tanu Beach ( Itu o tane / Sasina ). We also have a  public bus in traffic with the name Tanu Beach on. It will take you about 1 hour and 15 min to get to the village Manase and our Tanu Beach Fales. Price 3.50 Tala per person.

You can also fly from Apia to Savaii for only 60 Tala per person, one way. From the airport you have to take a taxi, either directly to Tanu Beach (60 Tala) or to the ferry dock (10 Tala) and wait for the arriving ferry and the bus departing for Manase and Tanu Beach.
